Yes. All RISE Blue Fund projects are structured to comply with Schedule VII of India's Companies Act 2013, specifically under clauses relating to environmental sustainability, ecological balance, and livelihood generation for communities in coastal areas.

The minimum annual contribution for CSR Funding Partners is ₹25 lakh per annum. Multi-year commitments are welcomed and attract enhanced branding and impact reporting benefits.

Implementation partners—NGOs, field organisations, and social enterprises—can apply through the Partner Registration page on this website. Applications are reviewed by the RISE Blue Fund Secretariat and Technical Expert Panel within 21 working days.

Blue carbon refers to carbon dioxide captured and stored by coastal and marine ecosystems—particularly mangroves, seagrass meadows, and tidal wetlands. These ecosystems sequester carbon 5–10 times faster than tropical forests, making them powerful, nature-based climate solutions.

All RISE Blue Fund projects use a rigorous MRV (Measurement, Reporting & Verification) framework covering ecological metrics (mangroves planted, hectares restored, carbon sequestered), social metrics (livelihoods supported, women empowered, communities served), and financial metrics (CSR deployed, co-financing unlocked).
